It's Jimmy Day. He's playing two different guitars. The first one, with Faron, is a quad and has his name on it. The second one is a triple. A lot of times he would roll his sleeves up. Thanks for a great clip!

The first one, on the quad, may not be him. But it must be his guitar or the player likes him a lot. The player on the triple Bigsby is Jimmy Day.

That's Buddy Emmons' Bigsby Jimmy is playing w/ Goldie and Ray Price. And Jimmy isn't playing on the Faron song; they inserted a clip of him there but it's Joe Vincent actually playing on it.

I have to assume Jussi is right about the first steeler. The boy on steel with Goldie and Ray is Day. I didn't ask for the first player with Faron because I couldnt id him at all. Thanks too to Larry Petree who also id'ed the steeler as Day.

I don't know if this is rocket science but look at the left hand index finger in both songs. Looks identical to me so is this this or is this that ??

The shot of the steeler in the Faron clip is a red herring.....it was just inserted for whatever reason. The playing that you hear is just like Faron's recording of the song which was Joe Vincent. Why Gannaway did that crap is beyond me. How dumb do they think we are? And what did they hope to gain by doing that? Even on some of the Marty's clips with James Farmer playing, they insert James Farmer clips that do NOT match the song....WHY??????
