Thanks for that Randy.
I can't play fiddle darn it.
Shut some would say I can't play anything at all HA!
Just a little steel, mandolin, dobro, bass, drums, lead, TV, radio, tape player, Windows computer.
That about cover it.
I sure wish I could play fiddle. My dad was a hillbilly from Mountain Home Arkansas and man, he could saw the strings off one..Well dad could make music on darn near anything
The lead man for Kaufman County Line is a fantastic fiddle player but he just HATES TO PLAY IT !
I have no idea why either.
Better at fiddle than guitar I heard.........
Oh well.
Thanks again

Hey Scott how are you?
Hey you know...I have only been to Mountain Home a few times over the years. I was born in Wichita Kansas but both of my sisters were born there.
My Dad moved to Wichita in 1954 to support the family.
Both of my sisters were born before he left for WWII. 1942 and 1943
Dad was a CB. Drove a bulldozier and killed Japs with his 45 he said. Kinda sounds like the John Wayne movie doesn't it?
My Dad was a real Mans Man!
Tough, honest, hard working and never, never, ever complained about anything oh.. except his hyper active spoiled brat of a son. ME!
Dad passed in 1972. I was 16. sure miss him!
Anyway...I sure love the mountains there in Arkansas.
Just not the ticks and chiggers! HA! HA!
Thanks for the reply. Looks like we will be fiddleless for this gig.. Is that a word?
