Because He Lives - Greg Cutshaw

Post by Greg Cutshaw »

Another straight forward rendition of this gospel favorite. There's a brief use of the Franklin E9th pedal lowering strings 5 and 6 a full tone at 1:05 to 1:08. Also the E9th 9th string lower is used at 2:24 to 2:31 and on the song ending at 3:31 - End.

I've included the rhythm track and will tab out the changes above and post in the tab section soon.

Greg,
Many thanks for this rendition of "Because He Lives" one of my all time favorites and you nailed it. I'm not a player just a very good listener.

All of your replies are greatly appreciated. Guess I better get those tab snippets done! I am looking for a lot more gospel tunes to record but would like to find some that have not been done on steel before. I've recorded 110 songs in the past 12 months and they are a blast to arrange and record though my spare time is now a bit more limited.
