One of a kind Sho-Bud Super Pro and Sho-Bud Amp
One of a kind Sho-Bud Super Pro and Sho-Bud Amp
Here's a package for the Sho-Bud Collector or Serious Sho-Bud lover. First a 1977 Sho-Bud Walnut Super Pro w/ All the ultimate upgrades, from the Aluminum knee lever brackets(replacing the faulty pot metal) to upgraded fingers and the AJ Nelson refinish in the late 80's.The guitar is in amazing condition, you have to look hard to find a few small scracthes on the body, the pedal bar and end plates are all in amazing condition, and this Walnut colored Super Pro is a serious head turner. To be completely honest i believe this to be the best sounding Sho-Bud i have ever heard. Many great players have called this a true amazing sounding and looking guitar. This steel was also one of the first Super Pros ever made. The guitar was just worked on by Mike Cass on friday were he put the 2nd string half/whole change on the RKR, the 1st(whole)and 2nd(half)raise on the RKL, and the 5 and 10 full lower on the vertical.(the reminder of the e9th set up is a stock Emmons set up)The c6th set up is a stock Emmons set up and the 8*5 set up is all ready to go.
The Steel comes w/ a like new Sho-Bud hook-on Volume pedal.
This package also includes a like new, awesome sounding rare single channel Sho-Bud Amp.The Amp has a great sounding JBL-d130F speaker and i believe the Amp was built in FEB 1971, Look close at the picture as the all original Amp has a perfect Amp grill and no flaws to the Amp.
This is rare combo. that could be seperated and priced fair at $3750.00 + shipping and hope the pictures do it justice. call for any questions or email my dad for any questions. ALUdeen@aol.com CJ 615 830 2492

Great setup Al... Beautiful walnut finish. I think I read somewhere years ago, that Buddy Emmons had an amp like that and really loved it.
It looks like this 31 year old guitar and 37 year old amp have been in a time capsule! Nice!
With this setup, all a guy needs is picks, a bar and a couple of cords and he's got a world-class steel rig.
Hi Jory, Maybe Al just just wants to do some major league fishin' like you do. You can't blame a man for that now can ya?

alas....
If the timing was any better nothing would please me more than to be able to take that walnut Bud off your hands. I've gotten into riding the home studio "horse", more like "mule". But you know I'd be proud as all get out to own your guitar if it were possible at this time.
Oh Al, FWIW, I jammed with the "fellers" a few times maybe about 3 yrs ago & just shy of the '05 MSF it was sorta decided it just wasn't going to work with me in the mix, distance being one factor. So when you did see them, no, I wasn't there. Wish I could've been there though to give you a big ol' hug.
For all the newer forumites, it case you don't know & I know there are some out there who don't, Maestro Al used to be a Sho-Bud rep. If anyone is/has been in possession of NICE Bud's it will be Al.
You want to own a GOOD Sho-Bud? Here's your opportunity.
Take care, friend.
