Who was Mel Street's road player. As I understand it, he toured heavy in the 70's while having several charted hits. Very fascinating tragic story about the life of Mel Street.

Duane , I had the honor of playing Pedal steel on a few shows with the late Mel Steet also back in the mid to early 70's along with Billy<Crash>Craddock. I remember one in particular we did at Cobo Hall in Detroit. It was a huge package show, along with Sammy Smith, Waylon Jennings , and Bill Anderson.Thats when i got to meet the Great Ralph Mooney and Sonny Garish.
