Who's that a$$&0le with the hula dancing Longboard Lager bottle ...
That particular jam got broke up by Joliet's finest ...
I think the Holiday Inn security team was a tad intimidated by Harry "The Hammer" ... and Isaac's Popeye arms ... and called for reinforcements ...

I wouldn't miss it.
Always great fun!
Each year it is interesting to meet and hear new players for the first time, as well as hear regulars. Each new person seems to feel like it is a family because every one is warm toward them and accepting.
Like Gerald said, if you are within a 100 miles you should come. The reason is not only the great music you will hear, but it is meeting new interesting people, as well as sharing ideas.
Aloha,
Don |

Your second time around........sorta hinted that you might be a closet BANJER Picker. Those little Banjer licks you were sneakin' in there DID NOT sound like slack key or spanish or flamingo.
Come on now. You're among friends. DO YOU PLAY BANJER too? |

No banjo here Ray.
Although when I was in my young twenties I played guitar in a Bluegrass band. We had a steady Friday and Saturday night gig at a restaurant for two years straight.
Wanna hear 'Rocky Top'? _________________ Gerald Ross

Of course, I have gigs next weekend (didn't have any for the last two months), so once again, cannot attend. Sigh...
Maybe next year? Have a great time!

Yes I do know it in French (that was with a different band though).
We didn't sing it in Parisien French, we sang it in High School French.
The second verse translated to:
Once I had a girl of on Rocky Top.
Here hair was Jolie Blonde.
Her teeth were white, like mayonaise.
And I still dream about that. _________________ Gerald Ross

I talked to Bernie Endaya today. He isn't coming to Joliet. (bummer) He's a great bass player, as everyone knows. |
