Did Mr.Mooney have the necks on his guitar switch around? I noticed he was playing this on the C-6 neck.

In one of those 6 wonderful Steel Guitarist Magazine issues that you can get for $25 through the SGF there's an article on Mooney, his copedant, and neck setup. His tuning is unusual, a hybrid...6th/9th...and he set it up on the near neck...the back neck was tuned like a dobro, but he didn't use it very often. Get those Tom Bradshaw magazines, they are a treasure trove of inside info!
