That is such a great piece of Pedal Steel!

An inspiration to all of us who aspire to play.

Buddy's playing made me buy my first pedal steel.
Hats off to Mr Cage!

:D

Ken : thanks for posting Buddy Cage, on this number; this tune and Panama Red have always been my two favorite pieces by NROPS. Even tho they were not classed as a country band, Buddy really brought the STEEL GUITAR to the fore-front. I, too, was persuaded to learn Peedal steel much quicker, by Buddy's influence. I once played with a group of young musicians whom loved the music of the NROPS, as I definitely did. Loved every minute, while working with these lads. Thanks for sharing the memories with us..Bernie  :) :D

Buddy Cage on Steel

Post by Robert Shauger »

Buddy's a great Steel player, I've had the great oppurtunity to have Buddy play steel for me a few times when I was singing, he picks a mean traditional country song as well....
