Good Morning,

We are back in the 1970's this week, with some pure country music. Listen to this one...

"One drink's too many for Benny" - Benny Martin. Buddy Emmons on steel, I believe. Benny's one of my favorites - you're right, pure country.

Dave is right...I remember buying that album back in the 70s...I need to get it transfered over onto a CD. Also the song called "Thats A Good Enough Reason" was the first time I ever heard Buddy doing the thumb style playing on a pedal steel.

Of course, it's "Big Tige". I did a few sessions with him. Never a dull mmoment when you were around Benny.

Buddy Spicher on fiddle. That's Benny playing guitar.

You are all correct - Benny Martin and Buddy Emmons, from his 1975 album "Tennessee Jubilee" on Flying Fish. :)

Kind Regards, Walter

Sometime in the late 80's. Don't know if I ever laughed so much in one day.
