I want to thank Scotty for inviting me to play this year and also Bobby Caldwell and the entire staff band for doing such a great job backing me up. A special thanks goes out to Red Kilby for joining me onstage and singing some of my favourite songs. It was a real pleasure backing him up. I really look forward to attending the convention each year and getting to see all of my old friends again. I sure had a wonderful time!

Neil, taking in your set was the last thing I did at the convention before scrambling for a cab to the airport. A great way to end a great weekend. Congratulations friend! |

Hi Mr. Neil Flanz!
It was such a great pleasure for me to meet and talk to you in person at this convention. And to see and hear you play at the mainstage. Neil, your tone put me tears into my eyes... absolutely GREAT.
Warmest regards... Thomas |

Neil,
It was such a pleasure to hang out with you all weekend, and to hear you play on the main stage. You sounded great in that room. The steel was really out front in the mix, and your tone was super.
Below is Neil in action on Sunday afternoon, and myself with Neil and Buddy Cage on Thursday evening in the lobby. It was something else to stand next to these two steel legends and listen to them spin yarns.
