U-12 wanted

Post by Stephen Tamborski »

Here's the deal. I haven't played steel in about 15 years. Sold a nice Sho-Bud that I had for many years. I'm primarily a guitar player and was busy raising a family so I didn't have the time to devote. Y'all know how it is though, eh? Once you get bit by the steel bug you don't recover. Now the kids are gone and I have a little more time so I'm looking for a steel to buy. I'm looking for a U-12. I almost scored that nice Carter that William Lawson posted a few days ago, but I was a little too late, like 3 minutes after it was posted..........

I'm inconveniently large, 6'5", so I'm looking for something that has either extensions or the option to extend. I suppose that I'd really prefer a Carter, but I'll consider something else if it fits my needs. I've got 2 kids in College, so although they're not home, money is still an issue. I'm looking for an instrument in the $1500 - $2000 range. If anyone knows of an instrument that might fit my needs please let me know.

Thanks,

Stephen Tamborski
