Jay Dee played on all that early Tony Booth stuff, some of my favorites, for sure.

Tony had the house band at the Palamino Club about this time and J.D. was the steel player. Al Bruno played guitar, Larry Booth on bass and a great drummer whose name I don't remember. It was quite a band.

Not so. An 18 year old by the name of Jerry Brightman played on some of the early Booth material and had to try to sound like J.D.

A fine example of Jerrys' playing can be heard on the song "High As The Mountains" from the 1973 lp 'This Is Tony Booth'.
