Roger, you got the steel player right - it is Weldon Myrick. The singer is a great songwriter...and the mother of one of the superstars of the 60s/70s... :)

I agree with Dave..Liz Anderson singing. She wrote some hits for Merle Haggard and is the mother of Lynn Anderson who was a big star in the 70's.
