last markdown before i go to feebay, buy now or regret it later these are all original Fender parts from a @ 1948 to1953 dual pro, or custom 8 or dual deluxe 8 string non pedal steel guitar

Infinitesimal corrosion on some of the nickel plating
These parts will fit most any single, double or triple neck from these years

two 8 string trapezoid pickups, bobbins in straight shape [jason lollar says these type pickup bobbins are prone to collapse], good plating short leads [read 11k ohms][i tried these out on a franken-coodercaster and they are HOT]

...'cordin' to my math (which is always suspect)- that would be about $1915 for a guitar with no body- I'm gonna run down to the shop and part out everything I have :)

mike, in response to your question, i bought the case with all the parts in it but no walnut body, had vague idea of making a new body but figured it was too much for me..thanx for the interest, joe

Joe; I think I know where you might be able to buy a Walnut Dual Pro body with all it's parts! Some in good shape and some not so good for about $750 ±. Body needs to be refinished. Since this instrument is actually complete, I hope that doesn't put this Reply too far OFF TOPIC!

I just sold my doubleneck 1952 Fender for $360 on ebay in January, got screwed on the deal... I should have had a reserve on it. I made new control plates and bridges and installed Bill Lawrence pickups because the original hardware had been trashed, pickups removed holes drilled and cutouts made. Anyway, you can guess about how much I'd pay for your parts. I could make a new body for ya, given I had an original to copy. The original body on mine was made of alder not walnut. Walnut was just the stain color on 'em. It would have weighed a ton if it was walnut or ash...

thanx for your post, timing was not perfect for us, you sold the body that could have been paired with my parts, and now i have sold most of the parts...oh well..
you must have been dedicated to do all that work to ressurect a nice steel...so, they were stained alder, not walnut? thanx, joe
