no, it was for an Emmons. I don't know how we hooked up, I don't remember, it might have been through this site. Somehow he found out I was a machinist and asked me if I could make him bell cranks. I didn't know what they were. I asked him to send me one which he did and I copied them and made 20 out of stainless steel. I didn't ask for any money and he sent me 20 dollars. He asked me how much I wanted and I said just send me the shipping costs. I think I still have the drawings I made and the programs I wrote to make them on a CNC mill and a CNC lathe. I had to braze the two pieces together. I figured if I ever made them again I would make them out of a single piece, a little tougher to mill but no worry about them coming apart. I was wondering how they held up. |
