New Clip of the Week 07/20/08

Post by Walter Stettner »

Instrumental time again this week! Here's an instrumental version of the classic "Crazy Arms". It comes from a fiddle album, but there's also plenty of room for steel and lead guitar playing. :)

Here's the track:

Enjoy!

Don't know about the steel player but is it by any chance Jana Jae playing the fiddle?

The fiddle player is one of the stars in the studios, so are the steel player and the lead guitar player... :)

Great track!

Just gonna take a wild guess and say Andy Reiss on guitar.

Steel sounds a little like John Hughey to me. (The only reason I say that is because of what happens at 1:31-1:33. It's also kind of a Lloyd-type lick. But my guess here is John or Weldon).

Don't know who the fiddler is. Whoever it is, they are channeling Tommy Jackson. Could be one of the Time jumpers, Hoot Hester or Kenny Sears.

Whoever the players are, this is GREAT picking and fiddling.

Could it be Mike Cass and Hank Singer?
