New Clip of the Week 07/13/08

Good Morning!

I freely admit, this week's clip is a tough one. The track comes from a rather obscure live album (1986) and the singer never was a big star. He opened for the big star of the show and used the regular band. BTW, the steel player is a member of the Forum, too.

I'm not real familiar with that song or the singer but if the steel player is a member of the forum I'm gonna take my chances and guess Steve Hinson on steel guitar.

John, no wonder that you are not familiar with the singer, her never really pursued a career as a singing star. It is Loretta Lynn's son Ernest Ray, opening at the Wheeling Jamboree, with the Coal Miners and Bob Hempker on steel.
