Pick Me Up On Your Way Down......David Hartley......YouTube

Post by David Hartley »

Have not uploaded any videos lately, so I thought I better put one up for you. I still have Amanda's Seranade recorded but have not heard from Doug Jernigan to get his permission. Perhaps someone could ask him for me?

Anyway, here's the link.

David,
That's excellent :D

Very clean and precise playing, you make it look so easy :D

More woodshedding for me, methinks.
(and I might oil my steel while I'm at it ;-) )

I agree with Richard. When you do one of these, I have a good day.

David,

You never cease to amaze me with your talent. Just great steel knowledge comes out in all your playing.

Hi David I called Doug Jernigan cell number to get an answer for you, I got his answering service, I left a message stating your request. I gave him my cell number, so if he calls me back I'll post it for you.

David, I love all your videos. Is it safe to assume you don't play C6th? If not, why not? Thanks, Don

Hi

Post by David Hartley »

Bill:- Thanks for that, I may hear from you soon then.

Don:- I used to have a Sho-Bud Super pro and worked a few things out on the C6th but found it difficult to improvise and had to copy tunes exactly. I just found it to be almost a completely different instrument to play. After robbing a few bits underneath to alter my E9th, I decided to get a LDG. This was many years ago and have had no reason to want a C6th back again. And there's the weight issue too.

I am in Scotland at the moment until Friday visiting my sister for a few days in Glasgow.
