Cindy was not there but I went to that Saturday afternoon gig on Memorial Day weekend and the crowd was decent.

Makes me want to get back before the end of August.

Also over in the forum at RealCountryMusic.net we were discussing importent women in country music.
I rank Cindy high because I can't think of other lady
instramentalist in Country Music who have a Grammy.

Not to take anything away from the wonderful Ms Cashdollar, but there have been others; Allison Krauss, Allison Brown, and Emily Robison and Marty Maguire with the Dixie Chicks have all won instrumental Grammys.

Did either Allison have one before 1994?

I don't think so.
All I know is I want an album with all them
Grammy winning ladies on it playing
like there's no tomorrow.

Here's a nice one from Cindy and Redd on another night.

Don't know if Barbara Mandrell has a Grammy, but she's surely one of the most talented girls I know of (including PSG)

Boy, at about 2:24 on that second clip, Redd does the classic "hit a clam, then hit it again so it's not a clam", huh? Mr. Green Ms. Cashdollar is even nursing a little smirk...

I think Cindy's first might have been "String of Par's"

I think John Ely was still playing steel with Asleep at the Wheel on the album that had "String of Pars". Cindy joined a little later...

I stand corrected. How about the first Wills tribute 1995 for Redwing. I know A Krouse was 1998
