Gospel Steel Guitar Internet Site
I don't know how many of you are aware of the Gospel Steel Guitar site.
I noticed that lately there was some discussion about a posting getting closed down because it got too "religious".
You are certainly welcome to look in on the following site and join it if you like combination of steel guitar and Christian fellowship.

Hey Erv. Good to see your post. Bobby Lee Has been a great help to all with the SGF and also other steel guitar related forums including the GSGF. So I have great respect for all that participate here and of course hope that those who are Christians or whose interests gravitate in that area will help with comments, suggestions etc...
Christian related discussions are encouraged on the GSGF Would love to see your comments there.

Arch - There used to be a disclaimer on the old forum.
There also used to be many more members. From my experience the debating that sometimes occurs when it comes to politics, religion etc... quite often becomes very intense. Being a Christian site and mostly Christian members it is not our wish to debate the existence of Christ with non-believers nor have our faith bashed there. It is bashed already in enough places. There are also many more things within the pages of the bible to argue over ...I mean discuss

Gentlemen, fo'bro Erv posted this thread to indicate the gospel steel site as reference for those wishing to go there but NOT to open a debate on religion
cut the Christian brothers some slack they're just tryin' to gather their fold
it would be a shame to see this thread closed because of intolerance

Thanks Crowbear !!
I don't want to embarrass b0b by trying to answer that question here. This is not the place for it and neither is GSGF but there are other sites that debate such issues and they are interesting, if you have a mind for such things. I don't think there is anything wrong in respecting the guidelines of the venues in which we participate
See what I mean Archrichard burton wrote:Can anybody quantify how much carnage religion has caused ?
It's the most disruptive element on this planet, IMO

The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.
