David Hartley / John Stannard...YouTube of band rehearsal..

Post by David Hartley »

Hi forumites, thank god (b0b) for getting this forum up and running..
My old band 'Stealin' Corn' got together this week for a band rehearsal. I thought you might like to see a bit of it. We have 2 dates here in the East of England next weekend if anyone feels like coming along.

Sat. 7th June...Cockfield Village Hall.. 8 - midnight
Sun. 8th June...Euston Rural Pastimes, Euston, Nr. Thetford. 12 midday to 5pm. Here it will be Stealin' Corn, Amarillo (thats my duo!) and Jonny Rondo. On the trailer near the beer tent! (mines a lager thanks!) This is a great day out for all the family with plenty going on to see..Park opens at 10am..

David, great job as usual and I'd rather hear a live band anytime. Got tickled when the singer cut your jock strap and left you hanging on lonesome fugitive! But thats what gives it that recording "live" sound. Post some more if you can and good luck on your gigs with this band! Ray

Wow, Dave, looks like you were enjoying yourself immensely. I've always said you looked like you are enjoying yourself very much when you play your steel. Not bad for a bunch of amateurs [ Hee;Hee ]. Those Haggard hits were some of my favorites when I was actively working; the buddy on Lead was excellent; naturally as you are every time you sit behind that RAINS.. Send us some more of these clips.. Thanks..Bernie
