Hi Jani,

Greetings from an Ex-Minnesotan. Minnesota is full of Finlanders, Norwegians & Swedes.

I really like your C-6th playing on this Beautiful Blue Williams Guitar.

Bill Rudolph has been a personal friend of mine since 1971. He builds a fantastic PSG. IMHO :)

Sincerely,
Roger

PS: My girlfriend & I met some Icelanders at The
Moana Hotel in Waikiki on a recent Hawaiian
vacation. I believe their language is an old,
old style Norwegian.??

Big Band tunes by Jani

Post by Al Marcus »

Gary-Thanks for posting. Nice playing by Jani on a nice guitar. I am glad to see a younger steel player liking to play the old big band tunes.

I , of course, grew up with them and always liked to play the old standards. I made a home video of some in 1991 on my old Sho-Bud SuperPro. Now if I can figure out how to upload them, I might try to put a couple on YouTube....al.:):)

Jani,

You must have tough feet.

For over 26 years I have played barefooted on every guitar I ever owned except my Williams which has flat sharp corners on the pedals.

I had to get used to playing in shoes over the last two years.

You have a beautiful guitar and I wish I could play C6th as well as you do.
