This ain't just your run of the mill pre amp. The thing I like most is the Z knob. If your wish you could just brighten or darken your entire tone just a little, just turn the Z knob a little and presto! there it is. Mine is a keeper unless or until I get a Revelation. The tuner out is great also. No unplugging to tune quiet. This unit will make someone very happy.

I have a Chandler RH-2 6 string lap steel that I bought new about a year ago at Musicians Friend for $429.00 (http://www.chandlerguitars.com/rh2.html). I haven't played it much since I bought my first pedal steel, so it's in very good shape (except for 1 bar ding on the fret board).
