Charley Pride's band with Gene O'Neal on steel.
Even if this is right, the only way I can ever beat Steve Hinson to the punchline is to be coming in late from an out-of-town gig like I am tonight. |

Spedtacular steel work and piano to on that one. A question for Steve Hinson...I was watching Grand Ole Opry Live back about 1986 or 87 and Lori Morgan sang Crazy, she introduced the musicians in the song and you Steve were playing lead guitar and I cannot remember the steel players name but he looked about your age and he was using the E9th tuning and he had I think a Marlin...it was red or orange in color it was maybe a year after that when I seen you were playing steel for John Conlee and you were using an Emmons wwhich in my book is a Rolls Royce pedal steel. |
