What a great show. Rick Troyer and all the crew and the backup band did such a great job. The sound system was the best. My only complaint is that it will be 2 years before we can do it again. I still think Rick and Jim Thompson should each have one every 6 months. How about it guys? By the way, it was such fun jamming with you (Jim and Rick) on Friday night, another highlight for me.
Thanks to Buck Reid, Mike Siglar, and Sunny Curtis for their encouragement and comments on my playing. Mike Meese, I especially enjoyed your set, great job.
Linda Torre, loved your piano playin, and you are a fantastic singer, and I'm in love with the hat. Jennifer, so good to see you again, you are the complete package.
A special thanks to my good friend Allan Coldiron, my favorite bass player. And to Bev Coldiron, thanks for singing on my set you are a joy and a fantastic singer. To all the others to many to mention, you are what the shows are all about. The fellowship and being able to see old friends and make new ones. To my brother Sam, thank you for doing the lifting and singing great on our set. |

Always a pleasure to be with good friends! I got to hear and play with some really great players. Chuck its always a pleasure to work with you and Bev loves singing with you too. I know you were in pain but I would have been disapointed if you hadn't shown. Jim Thompson, great set and 'Look at Us' was a fine tribute to Mr Hughey. Thanks also to Sonny Curtis and Mike Sigler for letting me play their sets.
Rick Troyer - Great show! Thanks so much for letting me be a part. Looking forward to the next time we can all get together again. |
