She's Acting Single

Post by Henry Matthews »

Here's a Gary Stewart tune that I started messing with a while back and made an instrumental out of it not knowing that Junior Knight and Mike Sweeney both had done this as an instrumental, both of which are much better than mine. Its a fun tune to play but never try this tune with a band that's never played it before. I tried and lost, LOL. Hope you enjoy my version.---Henry

Thanks alot guys. Weldon Myrick played on the original recording and I have always been amazed at the originality and creativeness and tone that Weldon had on the recording. His playing just made the song. Do any of you know if Weldon played on Empty Glass, another Gary Stewart song? Weldon is one of my heros.---Henry

So glad for this post Henry. I have tried this sond a time or two. It sounds simple but it's not. It makes me feel "pedal dyslexic",so thanks again. I'm going to watch it some more. Don.
