New BSG Steel Guitar
Hey fellow pickers, just received my brand new BSG Guitar built by Don Burrows in Ohio, let me tell you, this is the best sounding Steel I've ever played and Don is a really great guy who puts his heart into building Steel Guitars.

BSG Guitar
Not to get off the subject. But Don did make me a very nice set of legs for my fender 400. Can't tell from the originals.

I beg to differ The Millennium which may be the lightest guitar on the market, sounds just fine.Robert Shauger wrote:I've learned an expensive lesson when it comes to thw weight issue, if you compromise the weight, you'll lose that great Steel sound we're all looking for.
2 or 3 years ago at the SWSGA show in Mesa AZ, I thought the best sounding guitar at the show was the Carter that Randy Beavers played. (Randy's playing probably had something to do with that.) Companies like Williams, Excel, and GFU among others are all building excellent sounding lightweight steels.
Guitars don't have to break your back in order to sound good.
