1979 Guild D25... trade??..
Cherry Red.. VERY nice acoustic guitar by a great USA builder.. This a a Westerly RI built Guild... In very good shape,, A few scratches and nicks, but the brilliant wine red finish shines right through them.. Very pretty guitar... This model has a "carved" back... Sweet warm, mellow tone...
NO issues at all.. minimal playwear, frets are great.. NO bridge pull at ALL... anyway, I would like to trade this at around $700 or so.. I Can use a GOOD acoustic 12 string, a nice electric of equal value, some seriously good effects, a nice tube amp head... I will consider a cash trade deal too... No Korean or Chinese gear please.. I am divesting myself of most of that stuff because you have to give it away.. Just too hard to sell it... USA or MIJ gear only..
Pics coming... email if interested.. bob

D-25
I foolishly sold one of these. You have to pay alot of money on a new USA guitar to get the tone of one of these. Really!!! I agree these are the sleerper bargain of acoustics (esp the carved back ones).

Agreed...Mike Thomas wrote:I foolishly sold one of these. You have to pay alot of money on a new USA guitar to get the tone of one of these. Really!!! I agree these are the sleerper bargain of acoustics (esp the carved back ones).
I have a 70's Westerly built D-25 Cherry with the carved back. I currently have it strung in the Nashville high tuning and nothing I've ever played has come close to how sweet this guitar sounds AND records.
If I had the extra jing...I would buy this in a heartbeat just to have two.
