Thanks Don and Mark. The sonic possibilities are staggering. This will force me to REALLY learn how to play. After listening to the cut today, the best of two takes, I've decided that the performance is pretty pitchie with a couple of flubs that now sound worse than at the time. But, you know, then you grow. I'm sure you were all where I am, somewhere in your past. I actualy liked the sonic switch from resonator to steel (Les Paul or ?), think I use that more...why not, Rusty Young did. Love the new Kay Das song and video, something to strive for, beautiful job!

I play with a dance R&R band lately that is approaching club ready and working that ol catch 22, getting into one. I've been integrating lap steel more lately and using Wally. I will be weaving more lead and solo work in as we go. We recently did a promo set at a friends studio and thought you might like to hear this steel in a live recording, albeit a support role in a pop-rock song. You can view it on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcGWmyDsO84
Hope you enjoy, we had fun doing it.
