Updating the State College, PA list:
A roughly 40 mile radius around State College includes places like Altoona, Huntingdon, Mount Union, Lewistown, Lock Haven, Jersey Shore, and Clearfield. With some thought, I can put together (now 13), plus a couple of younger guys in town here who are just starting up, for a total of 15.
Close to State College:
Gene Fye (played with Hank Williams in the late 40s)
Carl Houtz
Dan Yeaney
Janice Brooks
Joe Eisenhart
Noah Figlin
Jason McIntyre
Dave Sarge
and myself
Altoona:
Kim Metzger
Art Payne
Huntingdon:
Jim Wilson
Houtzdale:
John Bumbarger
Lewistown:
Donald Walters
Clearfield:
Sam Confer
The add is Sam Confer, who I had the great pleasure to meet a little over a week ago. And man, you should play the lacquer-body/wood-necked Emmons push-pull he had with him. Wow.

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
