Tommy has more fun playing than we do watching and listening. His closing song, "Dance With Me" is classic Tommy Dodd. Great show Tommy. Jody.

Ahh, thank you Jody--I been waiting for someone else to start a post on him so I could add my picture of him hitting the last note of his set which was also the last note of "Dance With Me" .
"The Tiger Woods" of steel players for sure !!

We came home with a copy of his new CD "Steel Grits" which is a perfect companion to his "In the Steel of The Night" CD which we got last year and incidently opens with "Dance With Me". He and Miss Donna are a class act of the finest kind.- - Smile

Thank you gentlemen for the kind words. I thoroughly enjoy playing the TSGA and appreciate the opportunity to come to Dallas every year to play "Dance With Me" for Jody. What a great weekend we had!! Can't wait for the next one to roll around.

P.S.- Bill, If I could get an enlargement of the photo above so that I can better see Paul's expression. I think he was in pain but can't figure out why.

Most fun I ever had was watching Tommy in Montgomery at the ASGA show. Now I know
he creates fun everywhere he goes. He makes the music and Donna makes it worthwhile.

Tommy--That's not pain on Paul's face --it's ahhh well---- uhh darn, this is a family show and I can't find the words but suffice to say that was at least the third time I caught that expression during "Dance With Me" Embarassed

Austin has said many times over since the Dallas show that Tommy was his favorite set of the weekend. We all love how Tommy plays from the heart. That makes a great player even better. What a nice man as well. He and Donna are very nice folks.

Jody, let me second Bill on this post...I had the pleasure of meeting Tommy at the Dallas Show and didn't get to hear him play...but I did get his new CD, "Steel Grits" and if you like Classic Country do yourself a favor and order it...I also got the Rhythm Tracks and they're top shelf as well. You can tell Tommy puts his heart & soul into his music. Carl
P.S. Jody hope to shake your hand next year...
