Jim, It does make me wonder when there is so much demand for this kind of music , why so little is broadcast.
On a slightly different tack , all these old 50s 60 s 70s ,vids on you tube we all rave about, I would have thought the companies who own the actual copyrights to these shows would see that there is a demand for it to be produced on DVDs.
I wonder if they know of the demand.

I haven't done the market research on this, but it's not clear to me that 'there is so much demand for this kind of music.' I think the demand is probably spotty, regional, and largely within a certain age-bracket. Compared to other genres of music, I don't know that it really adds up to 'so much demand'.
