Dean/Fluger Catcan Dobro

Post by Kevin Hatton »

This is a Dean Resonator that I had Marvin Fluger install his active Catcan Resonator Simulator system in. Its a beautiful looking Resonator. It sounds sonicly exactly like an amplified resonator plugged in. Except there is NO feedback!. You can turn this resonator up on stage as loud as a Telecaster and it will part your hair in a large outdoor venue. I am doing more building than playing these days and I am not using this one. In excellent condition. Fantastic instrument. $595.00 plus shipping. It comes with a padded gig bag.

Kevin, can you tell me a little more about that pickup system. Is there a pre amp? Thanks Tom

Yes, it has a preamp. Two 9 volt batteries that last for years. Its very powerful and adjustable. The system was designed by Marvin Fluger and Duane Marrs.
