Much credit is due to Eric, for that's a very impressive list, but it's nowhere near complete, as it's missing quite a few songs that have already been mentioned, and there are still many many more! For a very small example:
Let's go to Vegas by Faith Hill
Massachusetts by The Bee Gees
Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits
and these are not obscure songs.

"Montgomery To Memphis" by Lee Ann Womack also comes to mind. It's on her first record and Paul Franklin plays some killer steel on it.

As has been previously noted, Johan asked for songs with cities, states, and even regions in the text of his opening post.

So "That's What I Like About the South" and "My Window Faces the South" would qualify.
