Was wondering if anyone has used this soundhole pickup in their lap acoustic. I have several Oahu Squareneck acoustics and want to amplify. Does it work, so far away from the strings?

I have it on my '56 Martin D-18 and LOVE it.

thanks in advance.

You have one on one of your guitars and you're wondering if any of us have experience with it on one of our guitars? Is there some reason why you haven't tried it yourself on one of the guitars you already own, since you already own the pickup?

I'm not familiar enough with the pickup to know whether or not it's a hassle to remove it from the existing guitar and attach it to a new guitar.

I'm just wondering here...

I used one for quite a while in a Lazy River weiss and was very happy with it, I liked it better than the Sunrise and Duncan MagMic I used earlier. Only reason I dumped it was because I installed K&K for a more 'acoustic' sound (plus I don't like having anything attached to the top of my weiss, but that's just me..)
