A steel player who is also funny, now that is seldom seen.
Slim is an excellent player. There seems to be so many great players come out of the UK. I had no idea until I got on here.
Great stuff!

John; thanks so much for spot lighting Slim here on our SGF. I didn't realize you folks from across the water had such a fine sense of humor. This guy is sensational as a club act and also a great steel guitarist. And no singers are required, for folks to enjoy a good country band. I nearly fell off my stool laughing at some of Slim's jokes.Send us some more of this entertainer..Bernie   :whoa:

Hi Micky, nice to know you are now a west country boy along side Gus York,Jimmy Gibson,Bob Dixon,Myself, and many others, must be the fresh air and the Cider, made by Dickins, tastes great and full of vitamins, and sets you up for the day.
My woman tells all my friends, to start the day she allways sets me up with a Dickins cider, keeps me going till the evening, when I have another one.
Yes I must find the time to pop over and have a session with you, get the old brain working again, stay well my friend, talk soon, Slim.

Thank you Slim. I thoroughly enjoyed your fine playing and your zany sense of humor.
The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.
