Henry, you got that Rains a talkin'. One of my favorite all time songs by Darrell McCall. Keep 'em coming as I'm really enjoying them. Ray

Nice picking and blocking, but if I wasn't told what song you were playing was I would never have guessed what it was.
I sing this song with my band all the time but I never heard enough of the melody in your playing to recognize what it was.
I'm from the Jeff Newman school of thought that says "Just play the melody", forget all the hot licks is what I'd suggest.
So beyond that you sounded nice with good attack.

I'm also one who doesn't usually vary a whole lot from the melody when playing an instrumental, but I didn't think Henry varied from the melody too much at all. I had no trouble telling what he was playing. All in all, a very fine job on this song.

You are an excellent player & anyone saying your not playing it their way is way off base! your playing is way ahead of most U-tube posts on here, kr

Totally agree with you Kyle. Even the "BIG" names vary off the melody, otherwise it gets boring! Henry's a great picker too, and very helpful in queries I've personally asked him :)

Something must be wrong with your ears man if you could not tell what song Henry was playing there. I think he done a mighty fine job on it. Heck I like it so much I'm playing his version of it also.

I hope y'all didn't misinterpret my earlier post as being critical of Henry. I thought he sounded very good on the song.
