First choice would be a Pro Rittenberry, second would be a Derby. They both are easy to work on, they sound great,play great and stay in tune. They are backed by the builder and easy to get parts for, not that you would need them.I think you can buy either one for less than $3000.00

I would buy one of those $69 / 6 string Lap Steels from MF and keep the $4931 left over. I already have a nice Steel.
