I just got a call from Carlene's bandleader but the darn day job is not flexible enough. I told him I would put the word out. They are based out of northern CA. and the word is they want to get rolling in January/February next year with 6 to 8 months already scheduled. Sounds like lots of fairs and good gigs with some traveling. Not sure what it pays, we didn't get that far. Anyone available or interested can email or PM me and I'll hook you up. They would like someone in the west coast region.
Thanks Dave

Just to let y'all know, Carlene decided to go with a keyboard player instead of a steel/guitarist.
Hasn't been the first time the steel get's pushed aside by another instrument. Won't be the last.
Her new album is really pretty nice with John McFee playing steel and dobro.
