This song is number 1 on the SC "Alt Country" charts and number 3 on the country chart. While not earth shattering, it is fun to know that a ton of folks listen. While my steel playing is not going to win any invites to play at any conventions, I get a lot of comments from folks all over the world about "how much they love pedal steel".

There is a great feeling knowing your music is being heard on the radio.

I played with a band and we did a CD that was doing well in Europe and we got it played locally.One day I was driving down the road when it came on the radio and I got chills.It seemed like it sounded better on the radio than on the CD...lol

Tell me a little about where it was recorded and is that you singing too?

It is just me doing all the parts and singing. I have a pretty nice home studio. You can check out some pics of my studio at my song site. Nothing real fancy. It takes me forever to write, perform, and record a song.

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm always worried about my steel parts when I post on here. I mean... there are three zillion steel players in Texas, and all are better than me!
