I don't know, Reggie... I can't find any real young pictures of Pete but judging by the nose, mouth and hairline, I think it might be. It sure ain't Weldon.

No not Mike.Mike was maybe 10 years old then. There was a guy that played a short time with Bill.Just after Weldon left and just before Sonny Garish. His first name is Bob and he's from Canada. He's still active but I can't call his last name.I'm thinking he played several tunes on the Northern Steel project. Sorry best I can do.

I was only 8 at the time.Dad carried me to a Bill Anderson show to see Weldon. Weldon was not there and we were told had just left Bill to play sessions full time.The name Bob Lucier rings a bell. But that was a long time ago,,,,,bb

You have the canadian steeler's name right, it is Bob Lucier. However, I don't know if that is Bob playing on that video

That is not Bob in that video. Bob has never played a D-10 and back in the mid to late 60's played a single 8 blonde Sho-Bud.

I think Sonny Garrish did some of Anderson's studio work during this period, but I don't know if that's him or not. I think this is an excerpt from "The Road To Nashville".
Nice looking instrument though.

Just got email from Bill Anderson
