Is the BW 1502-4 considered a good speaker for the NV 400 or not?

Alan, The 1502-4 ohm is in the older Nashville 400's and Vegas 400's. I have one in my own Nashville 400. It's really a bass speaker but sounds great with a steel or Peavey wouldn't have used them in steel amps. You can tell if your amp has a 1501 or 1502 by looking at the front of the cone. The 1502 is ribbed on the cone and the 1501 is not.

Sho-Bud and Carter universals. Peavey and Evan's amps.

It is a good speaker and was the stock speaker installed in many of the Nashville 400 amps. It doesn't have quite the range of the 1501 which Peavey later switched to installing as stock.

Sorry Micky! We must have posted at the same time! Surprised

I noticed that the middle was black instead of silver, so I was wondering. Sounds great to me. Thanks, guys!

Hi Alan, It should have the aluminum dust cap to emphasise the highs, unless that speaker was added later to your amp?? I'm not too sure on this (without the cap). Perhaps Mike Brown can answer.
