I use a Carvin R-1000 to a single BW 1502. For me the Carvin has too many "bells and whistles." I'm looking to get something more basic...low, mid, high...not much else. Looking for a more simple two space rack, with good thump and tone.

Thoughts?

One of my bass amps is an Eden WT405....pretty basic, pre, Compressor, Treble, Mid (with freq), Bass, master.

Couldn't be simpler.

Mike, learn to use that Carvin. It is an excellent rig for bass OR steel.

IMHO.
