16 Live Johnny Paycheck videos

Post by Dave Mudgett »

Found a youtube member with 16 - count 'em, 16 - live Paycheck videos with Jay Andrews on steel, all from a single live show, I assume late 90's, early 00's. This link will get you in the vicinity on his profile, he has a lot of videos: Click Here

Git 'em while you can, these were all posted in the last month. Johnny is one of my absolute favorites, and seems to have always been blessed with fine steel players.

Good stuff and nice picking. Check out the intro on She's All I've Got. Someone plays the intro chords in the wrong key and the clash is horrific... but the band recovers quickly and laughs it off. That's live music!

Yup - this is quite clearly live music. There are technical audio/video glitches in places and other imperfections. But I'll take this, any day, a thousand times over some manicured but soulless recording.

Dave
Thanks a million for that, you've just made my night.
I've spent a happy hour listening to one of the the
best country singers of all time. My all time favourite. A troubled life. but a singer with more soul than most of our modern so called country singers. My favourite Paycheck song is there. 'In memory of a memory'. I love that get together with George Jones.
Thanks again
