Tommy you are a monster. To master this instrument to such a degree is unbelievable.

Bill, thank you so much for posting these examples of really classy playing. Played from the heart - both, "C-Jam Blues" and "I Love You So Much ... ". Absolutely wonderful! It has certainly brightened up a miserable, dark, wet, December day here in North Hampshire, England! :D

Everyone has their on idea about the perfect C6th tone. The tone on this clip is mine. Picking's not bad either. :D

That's the best version of I Love You So Much that I have heard - period. So much soul it nearly makes your heart bleed.

I Love You So Much and Look At Us

Post by Bernie Gonyea »

:D  :)

Hey, Ken, I have to agree with you on " I Love You So Much ". It definitely is the most superb and fantastic rendition of the song that I've had the pleasure of listening to. And, low and behold, what's Tommy do but furnish Vince one of his magnificent jobs on " Look At Us ". What a wonderful tribute to our late friend, John. Tommy's playing brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait to see him and Wanda on " Crook & Chase's " new show this Thursday on " The RFD Channel". And I understand they are going to be regulars on that show. Congratulations, Tommy. You'll make their ratings go UP one hundred Per Cent.. Keep that great playing coming our way.. Thanks, Ken..Bernie   :whoa: :D

Oh, yes, the Crook & Chase Show will be aired at 7:00 P.M. [ EST, I believe ]

Thanks for the shameless bump Bobby.
Although I hear intonation quirks and I was a bit nervous from 4 film cameras  , I was and still am pleased with the tone of that ol' Emmons guitar directly through the Webb amplifier.

Tommy, you'd have good tone with a cheap lap steel and a fifteen dollar amp!!!
