From The Legends Of Western Swing Festival 2007

Post by Mike Sweeney »

I found out yesterday that I was on You Tube playing in Wichita Falls,Tx. back in June of last year. I looked it up and there are a couple of clips from one of our shows. The first one is with Carolyn Martin [on loan from the Time Jumpers] singing " When You're Cheatin' On Your Baby", And the second one is me playing "Midnight In Old Amarillo".
I hope y'all like these.

Sounds great, Mike. Thanks for the link; I book-marked it. Who knows, I might steal a couple of your licks.

Hi Mike,

Way to go DUDE. Mike, I throughly enjoyed your playing on MIDNIGHT IN AMARILLO, it's one of my favorite tunes.
The thing I most enjoy about Western Swing, is that the musicians can cut loose and be inventive in their playing. They make the tune their own.
Western Swing has been dubbed "Country Jazz" and I enjoy it to "THE MAX." :D
