Sasser & McCall-Music Played With God's Hand All Over I

Post by Fred Shannon »

Folks this is how it was done in the good old days. (And still is in some places). This is country, played by one of the best steelers country music has ever produced. No one makes a steel guitar cry like "Wimpy", one of my very favorite steelers.

That don't get your heart pumping, the clods have already rattled on your boards. Just quit breathing.

Phred, I believe me and you like the same kind of music. Need to get you to play for the WTSGA sometime.

Count me in, too! :) That's exactly how it should be played.

Thanks, Phred!

Fred thanks for that! I guess the "clods haven't rattled on my boards" yet, 'cause it sure made my heart pump for the good old days of country music!

 :whoa:  Phred: Thanks for reminding us forumites what good Country Music sounds like. Seems so great to hear him backing such great singers as Darrel and Johnny Bush. Out of this world steel Guitar Pickin'. Walter is right; that is the way good ciuntry music should sound. I know all we old timers [ and young timers, too ] surely miss hearing our kind of music. Send us some more of these fabulous cuts.. We love em..Bernie :D 8) :)

Phred, you're right about Wimpy, a great steel player and a great guy. One of my favorites.

I think there is a concensus of opinion here , that is what country music is all about , great song , vocals and band, the steel and fiddle makes the spine shiver.
