Hi Wade...thank´s much for posting these clips! I would love to see more of them.

Wowwww, I love the playing of Mr. Dicky Overbey. He and also Mrs. Amber Digby are two of my absolute favorites in country music.

I will be in Texas in April 2008 and hope much, to see and hear both of them live !!!
Perhaps someone can tell me their playing dates ?!

Regards... Thomas :D

man alive ---still got got goose bumps!!!! met and heard him play at Tulsa a while back and he knocked 'em dead at the show. what a player!!
wonder if this was done at Gruene Hall in New Braunsfel, Tx??? my sister that lives there took me to to the hall not long ago and it kinda looks like that.
oldest CW dance hall in Texas---I think---quite a place!!!

the Amber video is from Traders Village in Houston. i didn't recognize the venue from the Darrell vid but the description says it's LaGrange Tx. also notice the other genius steel player in the band, Jim Loessberg, on the drums, and ofcourse the always great Justin Trevino, who appears in both videos. great stuff!

I love it! I love the steel sound on Country Girl. It seemed to have an early 1960's era tone or style, which I'm quite fond of.

By the way - Do you guys kind of get into YouTube surfing? I'll go to one of these videos and will usually see a link to something else, then something else, and first thing you know, I've blown a couple of hours. Maybe it's just me... :)
