Improv 2 minus track

Post by C. Christofferson »

Two meaningful things done today; Watch football & practice steel. Here's a video of the latter. Definately not a permanent Utube file, but just put up for your ent. Somedays ya just can't feel that 2nd string lower feelstop...

Here's also the video I posted last week in SPs., MSA steel improv.

Edit: I deleted the 'laughing' icon cause I noticed it behaved differently on high-speed than it does on dial-up, giving a different impression than I intended FYI.

Curious if you played the various instruments on the tracks.

I liked the laid back feeling on the second track.

What are you using for tone from your MSA?
What amps and effects?

Those were recorded run through a Boss ME-33 all digital Guitar Multiple Effects floor unit plugged straight into the computer...one of those multiple bank/patches units with built in volume pedal. I think all it had on was hall reverb, stereo (pan) echo set pretty long for the slow song, feedback set around 35% (youtube processed the audio down to mono though, so for full stereo you can check the original video file on the link there), and one other effect in the ME-33 that gives single coil pickups a sound with humbucker characteristics.

Mr Christofferson,

We spoke last week about me adding steel to your song and I recently posted it here under "Another tune you might like".

I also sent you an e-mail but thought I would post a message here in case you don't get the e-mail.
