Years ago I used to go to a Place I believe was called the Arlington Steakhouse and they served this HUGE 2 " THICK SIZZLING STEAK and all the trimmings, my pals and me would get off on Friday, go there and PIG OUT and then go and Bowl all nite at the old Forum Bowl. This was back around 1983 so Im sure its changed by now, Cattlemens is good and definetly the Stockyards down there are worth wandering around, I love Texas and the Big Steak thats all you can eat is in Amarillo and Ive done it twice.
There are aslo some excellent BBQ places with Brisket to die for around Fort Worth. _________________ Don Lanier

What I really found unique about Texas is the people who set up grills at rest stops and open for business.
I've had some real good barbecue at some of these stops. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Hi David, If you will type in Trail Dust Steak House, Arlington, Tx ( you may have to add USA on your web ) their website comes up and you can see the menue and so-on. I useally get their 30 oz. Porterhouse steak for $28.88, but they also have a 50 oz. if you are kind of hungry. Check it out!! I know I will be going over there at least once while at the jam. But I see you also hve other offers at various places.

dog gone it Ray, dont force me to buy a whole herd! The competition is just too strong on here, anyway, he mailed me and said he wouldnt be here long enough to make it this trip, but he wont have any trouble finding a free steak when he has time to spare whether it be Kansas, Texas or probably several other states. |

Doyle, you got that right! David has made a lot of new fans with his videos. Looking forward to seeing him and hearing him play in Dallas. I hope maybe they can find him a spot onstage! Ray _________________ Ray Qualls
